Self-care is one of the most important things for health and well-being. Life is busy and overwhelming, but it is necessary to take the time to take Self Care. Self-management is about focusing on what you need when you need it to ensure your health and well-being.

The demands of family life are exhausting. Carpooling, school activities, and birthday parties are just some of the many things that we support in the lives of our children. As parents, it is easy to be put underwater by making sure that we forget to feed ourselves. Let’s make a commitment this month to feed mom and dad. Taking Self care means resting when necessary, naturally eating healthy food, moving the body, meditating, maintaining healthy relationships, having fun and eliminating toxic behavior or bad habits. The list contains everything that is focused on your well-being.

When the body is sufficiently abused and care is not a priority, congenital wisdom takes over. The body sends messages. Sometimes messages are ignored or deleted with prescription drugs, self-care medications or other toxic vices. It is wise to listen to bring the body back into balance.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the body associates certain emotions within certain organs. The gallbladder of the liver holds anger, the kidneys hold fear, the heart is associated with joy, the gates of the spleen and too much to think. The lungs are connected with grief. To practice self-care, it is best to listen to your own body. It may mean that you have to deal with unpleasant truths, but ultimately well-executed self-care leads to health, happiness, and well-being. It is not selfish to give where necessary. Without taking the time for your well-being and acknowledging your value, there is nothing left to share with others.
